Child Nutrition Accounts
When a student enrolls at BISD, they are given a student ID number. The student ID number also serves as their Child Nutrition account number. Students should memorize their student ID number since they manually enter it when they come through the serving line. Students should refrain from sharing their student ID number.
Meal Account Payments
Parents/guardians may log on to www.myschoolbucks.com and set up an account for free. Parents/guardians can monitor what their student is purchasing daily, make online deposits using their credit card and can set an automatic low balance alert which may aid in helping to eliminate charging. Please note that there is a fee for each single online transaction. This fee is charged by My School Bucks as a convenience for online payments and is not collected by the school district. Cash or check pre-payments may be made directly to the school cafeteria with no additional fee. All forms of payment will be applied to your student's account on the day received before 2 p.m. each day. Any funds received after that will be posted the next business day.
Important Note from My School Bucks:
Due to rising payment processing interchange fees and continued increases in operational costs, we’re updating the MySchoolBucks program fee that parents and guardians pay at checkout to $3.25 for all cafeteria credit/debit card prepayments beginning on March 7. This adjustment to our program fee for school meals is necessary to continue providing you and your families with the best and most secure online payment experience, while continuing to maintain the highest levels of data privacy.
Personal checks should be made payable to the student’s campus cafeteria. Please include the student’s full name, their ID number, and school name on the memo line. Cash should be in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s full name, student ID number and School name.
*There are no fees associated with cash or check payments.
